Meals so Easy Kids Can Make Them

This is a video I made a few years ago that illustrates the beauty of having meals in my freezer. Meals so easy a kid can make them. Do you struggle with eating out too frequently? Does chopping, sauteing, mincing, and other stages of food prep overwhelm you? Then "Dump and Freeze" meals are for you!
Here is a video of a typical meal in my freezer.

Steps to quick and easy meals:

1) Grab your favorite meat (organic, grassfed, what's on sale or from Costco. You decide).
2) Grab your favorite seasoning.
3) Add a wet ingredient to match. You can choose fresh, frozen, canned, organic, or not.
4) Freeze and when ready to cook you can Grill, Bake, or Slow Cook the meal.

Here is a  typical recipe.

Beef Stroganoff
1 packet Onion soup mix (about 5 TBSPNS)
2  pounds  round steak (sliced in 3 inch lengths)
1  cup  water
1  8-ounce  container of sour cream  (add last hour of cooking)
2  tablespoons  flour
1  8-ounce  jar or can sliced mushrooms

Put all ingredients except sour cream into a ziploc freezer bag and "smoosh" to combine ingredients.
Label with cooking instructions. Slow Cook on Low for 4-6 hours. During last hour add sour cream. Serve over hot noodles or rice.

Happy Cooking! My rule for meal prep is always...it has to be easy enough for a kid to make!
