The visitor fridge. AKA hospitality plan!

Ever wonder what other student ministries do for their "hospitality plan" or visitor strategy? I love seeing what other youth groups come up with and sharing ideas. So...how do YOU welcome and wow your visitors? How about with a fun visitor fridge! When students visit our high school or middle school service, we have them fill out a visitor card at the check in table. We then pair them up with an S-Staff (student staff...aka student leader!) who takes them to the visitor fridge for a treat.  See below for a copy of our visitor card (made on PicMonkey of course!) After getting a cold beverage from the visitor fridge (forgive me...they started an unhealthy trend before I got here of awful drinks, haven't fought that battle yet..Izzies are coming next!) our S-Staff helps them find a seat and introduces them to other students and staff.

The "after" first visit hospitality plan includes a postcard in the mail, a follow up email and a follow up phone call. I'd like to add a personal delivery of a hot Chick-fil-A chocolate chip cookie. Wouldn't that be fun on the Monday after their first visit? Or is that a little too "we are stalking you?" Personally, I don't see how you can go wrong with cookies (still trying to figure out how to put that in the youth budget!)
